  1. what do you think their personality would be like?
imagine the infinite knowledge one could gain in 100 lifetimes, the multitude of people they would meet, the experiences they would go through and what they would've learned from each one.
    how enlightened/cynical/insane/normal would they be??

.... now imagine what God must be like...?
    what do you guys think

  2. If I lived for that long, I would be a cranky-ass old dick. I would never want to live that long. Imagine coming home froma long day of work and being super tired, but you cant go to bed...That's what it would be like. Only for 10000 years.

  3. extremley wise...i couldnt tap the surface of their persona..its impossible to tell....id want to live that long..

and to answer your other question..god doesnt exist *ducks*

  4. haha yeah i don't really believe in god, but i'm just saying if he really did exist, and he created everything... trying to comprehend his personality/presence is pretty overwhelming.

and i dont mean like you'd grow hella wrinkly and shit like that, i just mean like, living hella chill + learning all these things on earth for 1000's of years...

  5. i think they would end up working at Walmart for 9975 of those years

ha yea right if there really were i would expect him to know all history and be amazing at every instrument and drawing and have WICKED alzheimers from all the weed hes smoked

  6. weed doesnt cause alzheimers^

  7. not to burst a bubble but thats impossible.
no disease or anything like that.
but the odds of him getting into a car accident, being shot, freak accident... would alone kill the person.
    but if he was highlander.
    how cool would that be...

  8. I think mortality is THE defining characteristic of life in our known universe.

It's impossible for me to imagine the being you describe.

  9. Theorical, wouldn't it be possible for one to live 10,000 years? longer?...

  10. Dude weed is used has medicine to fight against alzheimers.

  11. ^^ Yea, it was in the headlines a week or two ago.

  12. I think they would be one sour mother fucker.

  13. Human beings are miraculous creatures but I don't think any of us would be able to endure the emotional toll such a long life would entail. It's bad enough losing the people we care about in our daily lives but imagine that magnified ten thousand fold as the ages passed? Everything's connected and a person so detached because of a long life would ultimately end up being shut off and isolated. The quality that gives life its meaning is its brevity; the fact that we're here for a short period of time, but to extend that removes much of life's grand spectacle.

Also, just because a person lives a long time doesn't mean that they're going to be wise as a result. Wisdom isn't gained simply by living a long time but through opening yourself up to life and the subtle lessons it teaches us on a daily basis. Some people manage to live a very long time with a closed perspective. They close themselves off to people that are different and they even manage to forget how harmonious raindrops can sound.

We live, then we die and the frantic seconds in between are all we get, but given the amazing gifts we all have that's more than enough.

"Eating, loving, singing and digesting are, in truth, the four acts of the comic opera known as life, and they pass like bubbles of a bottle of champagne. Whoever lets them break without having enjoyed them is a complete fool."

    ~Gioacchino Rossini~

    Stay green.

  14. I for one couldnt do it, knowing I will watch everyone and everything I care for die, that would be to much. 10000 years is a long time, I think at some point it all becomes pointless, for such a gift is also a curse. I think death is what makes us special, we know we are going to die, so we cherish the things we have while we have them. If you were going to live like that you couldnt possibly cherish the things most of us take for granted, there would be no point, you know you would always have more time, and waste your life. I couldnt live like that

  15. I think the human race is moving closer and closer to immortality...we very well could discover the 'fountain of youth'. It's weird as hell to think about though, isn't it?...The average life today, is much longer than in the 13th Century, anyway.

  16. yes by 40 years in about 800 years.
but to increase by 9900 years? it wont happen in my life time.
and the world would end by the time we found out how to do it.
like i said in a pervious post, it prevents natural causes but not gun shots, suecide, car accidents etc...

but think about it many years ago the romans werea advancing technology like crazy. they have a library which held every book in the world. that postponed our technology by 1000 years at least. imagine where we would be if the persians didnt burn it down.

but as they say. Lifes a bitch then you die. Fuck the world lets get high.
