Romney is your classic force your religious beliefs on other people kinda guy. If Romney gets elected medical marijuana is fucked. Sure dispensaries and medical grow ops sometimes get raided. But under Romney the DEA will go at medical marijuana harder than ever.
Also ASA has a court hearing in October to see if they can reschedule marijuana. So that should be interesting.
Romney/Ryan are the puppets of big business with pharmaceutical companies being top dogs. We all know that if pharma's could find a way to patent THC it would be in every drug store in the world raking huge profits. The second element is the religious bullshit. America does not need a Mormon high priest running the country and telling American citizens how to live. In the south we have a bunch of evangelical religious nuts trying to run the south on their interpretation of the Bible. While people are going to jail for minor weed charges meth is being made everywhere included rest stops on interstates and even in mobile labs. Prescription drug abuse has gone ballistic with users robbing drug stores of pain meds and leaving the money. A vote for Romney/Ryan is a vote against weed.
romney is a Mormon. Mormons do not drink. Mormons do not use tobacco. Mormons do not drink caffeinated drinks like soda, tea or coffee. I am sure you can figure out what their position on cannabis would be! Neither romney's nor ryan's faiths bode well for women's rights. True, romney has said he agrees with abortion in cases of rape, incest or to save the mother's life. However, if romney is elected I expect major attacks not only on dispensaries, but also on Planned Parenthood and similar organizations.

Would the argument be invalid if it were Medicinal Marijuana? My JW friend started smoking marijuana against his parents wishes (his beliefs) because he understands it is beneficial to the body and mind so it doesn't go against religion. Could this perhaps come true in the instance with Mormons and Romney if rescheduling/decriminalization occurs before he has a chance to get in office?
Well if Colorado and those two other states that i can't remember the names of pass in November he is gonna have a problem.
I think he'll fight MMJ tooth and nail. Why? [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6lTbAI4sP0M]Romney will fight medical marijuana tooth and nail - YouTube[/ame]
If Romney wins, medical marijuana is f***ed. If Obama wins, medical marijuana is f***ed. So who are you voting for?
I feel we have a better chance of obama legalizing cannabis but i beilieve romney would be a better president
Yeah lets elect a cannabis/porn hating, vulture capitalist who's itching to go to war with Iran. What could possibly go wrong?
we will all be fucked unless you are a millionaire, which i know none of you are
I am

It should be up to the states and the ppl. Not one man
actually that is incorrect. cannabis could be rescheduled either legislatively, through Congress, or through the executive branch (the president) its just that we haven't had one that was willing to man up and do it.

And for the supreme court to do it they would be trying whether or not the illegality and criminalization of marijuana is constitutional.
