I was wondering if someone can help. Is this nute burn does anyone know. I don't think it's heat related. I swear if this thing lives to fruition it'll be a miracle. But... Learnin learnin learnin
My guess would be potassium deficiency not 100% on that one tho. http://forum.grasscity.com/index.php?/topic/1331928-Socos-400W-Closet-Grow%2E
Ok I've never experienced that , what should I do to fix it and thanks for the response Admittedly lazy in my part
That isn't just one issue it appears to be multiple deficiencies and toxicities probably caused by a pH lockout or roots not getting enough oxygen.
I have thrips so it might just be from Them. But their damage was different in the lower leaves. It could be from baked on mite spray. That may have caused it
Very unlikely... that is definitely a combination nutrient issue. I have seen plants recover from worse but it is pretty bad. What is that soil because it doesn't look very well aerated. At least one third of your soils should be some sort of aeration like perlite or rice hulls.
Meh... MG can be used... I don't because the company that makes it is not one I want to support but some people over react when they hear you are using it like its fucking poison or something lol. You just have to add aeration to it and if it is prefertilized flush it a couple times before using it.
Looks like root lock to me. How's the growth been? Probably slowed?I would suggest you don't try and add pearlite, because you'll probably mess up the root system even more and it looks like you're about halfway through flower? I'd just say flush her for now and observe. Keep posting pics and good luck!
Thanks dude. I wouldn't say slowed but it's possible cause I don't have a base for how quick they bud and stretch. My two biggest buds have been growing noticeably and it's about a 18" plant in almost five gallons of soil. Not to say it isn't bound. Idk. This fucker has seen it's share of problems. My god, transplanted indoors, then transplanted again to a bigger pot and had the worst case scenario transplant lol I ripped half her roots off. She recovered and went to 12/12 then I put in a screen , then the thrips, which is either better, or they simply have nothing left to eat but hairs. Now this. It seems like I'm one of those ppl that growing just isn't their forte. But I hope it's just beginner shit. As someone with many Atlanta it kinda bothers me when ppl have trouble doing things like this I get judgy. So it kinda frustrating
Have u been recycling your soil? If so,could be salt build up,blocking nutes to roots. Id flush with straight water for a few days or more. Also, how hot is it in the room? Sent from my LGLS740 using Grasscity Forum mobile app
Temps have never been an issue and I had been flushing already cause of the bug damage at first looked like a deficiency or a disease. then gave it nutes when I thought it was better and couple days later looked so much worse. I hardly have any leaves left and now the ones I do have they're fucked too. I used a very small and cautious nute water ratio. And I don't know what recycling soil is lol how is that done and I'm assuming it's done for the build up of nutes and solids and salts Like you said but how do u do that?
You don't wanna do it. Heavy minerals and residue salts will build up in it. Sounds like she's had some problems, honestly, you're very lucky she's not a hermaphrodyte. Lol. Every grow is knowledge man, and its never waste when you can apply it to your next one and learn from it...
Ooohh don't even think it!! Lol yeah it's been a rough journey for her but yeah I'm learning and making My Mistakes on this my first female grow. Thanks man
But what is soil recycling? Do you mean using the same soil from a previous grow? I've literally been high since 1:00 today and never stopped. So .....
Organic growers just keep using the same soil in the same pots over and over. When you harvest you take out the main root ball and top dress with some amendments like alfalfa meal, EWC, compost, whatever. Then you can "no till" by transplanting right into the hole you made by digging out the root ball. Its awesome. If you don't no till then after you harvest you dump the soil sort out the large clumps of roots, add more amendments, moisten and then let it cycle for 4-6 weeks. Cycling is the process of breaking down organic amendments into useful forms of nutrients by the fungi and bacteria in the soil.
Basically yes. Its just a term for people who are too damn lazy or dumb to switch out their soil. I wish I had been high since 1. I've been putting off buying bud... :/
What i mean is.......do u re-use the same soil or add fresh soil? Sent from my LGLS740 using Grasscity Forum mobile app
