If I attempt to air dry water cured buds will they get moldy?

Discussion in 'Apprentice Marijuana Consumption' started by soserious, Oct 8, 2012.

  1. I want to water cure some bud for my girlfriend. She doesn't like the taste/smEll and I think some smooth bud will help her out.

The thing is I don't have a fan. I dont have a food dehydrAtor. So the best I can do is let the buds air dry. Or leave them in my guest housE with all the windows open.

Will my buds be dry within a week after after water curing? Will they get moldy without a dehydrator?

  2. never heard of water curing, and ive had a few grows myself....but anyways, i reccomend a dehumidifyer (sp?)

  3. Hmm... Seems risky. I always thought you were supposed to let them dry naturally while hanging them upside down. Only me?

Where did you hear you needed a fan for water-curing?

  4. Do you know what water curing is? The plants i used were almost done hang drying before i put them in the water.

And i read something on here that said that when water curing you should use a food dehydrator or a fan to combat mold.
