If cannabis has anti-cancer properties, why did Bob Marley die?

He got cancer in his toe not his stomach, brain, and lungs. It may have spread there later but it didn't start there. Just wanted to clear that up cause I didn't want people to think he got lung cancer and died from smoking bud lol. But yeah as most have said, just because it has protective properties doesn't mean its not possible to still get cancer.

 

You give pot to cancer patients not to kill cancer but to treat symptoms. They take it to be able to eat, sleep, and get rid of mild discomforts. If anything pot makees your last months with uncurable diseases a little bit more bearable. There are other studies being done providing much more susbstaintial results in fighting cancer, none include pot.
Edit: also, bob marley let himself die. It is his own damn fault he didn't get treatment. His life could have been saved, yet he did not take this chance.

Comeone guys, y'all should know this. Yes, Cannabis 'can' be a cure for cancer and can also help relieve side effects of the disease and chemo. But it's not that everyone that smokes is instantly cured. Every form of cancer has to be threated in a different way and dosis. Just smoking is not enough! An potent oil form has so much more potential to cure.

There is just too little research on the topic because it brings alot of problems with it. People have litterally cured there family members, clients etc with Hasjoil. But once they told or spread the word, they got caught, put in jail or had to tell that they didn't cure anyone. Also a late independent study have shown that even heavily marijuana 'smokers', have an induced risk of getting lung diseases and lung cancer, and have less chance of getting cancer than non-smokers.

They just don't want you to know!

People think too easily. It's not like: Weed cures Cancer, I smoke weed, Cancer is cured.

After the cancer spread throughout the body and was diagnosed in 1977, he still managed to survived with a brain tumor for another 3 years, while singing on tour, before dying in 1980. Weed alone battled his illness, but we can only imagine what crazy bacteria the CIA pricked him with.

This is all very plausible due to witness testimonies, not to mention the attack at his home on Hope Road that he survived. If you do some research on that incident, it was an organized ambush by professionals with fully automatic weapons and pistols. Not only was Bob shot, but his wife Rita was also shot, along with manager Don Taylor and Lewis Griffiths, a member of the Twelve Tribes of Israel.

"Journalist Leslie Miles, who at the time was entertainment writer for the Daily News, witnessed and reported on the incident which took place around 9:30 pm. It occurred while Marley and his Wailers Band were rehearsing for the show."

Rita and Leslie were leaving the house in their VW van when they heard the shots and when they started to drive, they were shot by more than 1 shooter before shooters fled towards the house. It was a well organized attack by at least 4 gunmen...

Going back to surviving with brain cancer... While my brother was at Sloan Kettering, he had a neighbor for 6 months that had a brain tumor also. It was only in his brain, not metastasized from anywhere else and he battled it for 2 years before dying. His life was miserable. He was always in pain not to mention some times he would go temporarily insane. Bob had cancer in his whole body. If you get cancer in your toe and it ends up in your head, it didn't just pass through your whole body, it spread through your whole body.

He didn't have anything to do with western medicine. All he did was eat healthy every day and smoked God's plant and survived happily (way more happy than any chemo patient), singing on tour for 3 years. That sounds like "anti-cancer" to me. No if's or but's.

It's important for you to understand how he died. Not just why, but how! Clearly the pot was fighting the cancer. It may not have overcome it, but it surely fought it. Do you know what cancer patients are given to prevent metastasis? Do you know what cancer patients are given post op of metastasized tumors to prevent them from reoccurring? Their main drug...

Chemotherapy, which is a fancy word for poison. Not much different than nerve gas, these chemicals are so toxic that if they are spilled, nurses have to call in a bomb squad to remove the toxins because if you touch it you can get skin cancer!

Pot will not kill a tumor, cutting a tumor out gets rid of a tumor and not even permantely that way. There is no known cure for cancer. Pot is just very beneficial for patients to help fight it because it relaxes them and helps them eat to keep strength with chemotherapy and treatment. It is in an aid in conjunction with chemotheraphy. Its fucking cancer bro, one out of four of us will die from it and that's how it is.

I would call that moronic. Being told this surgery will save your life and you say "nah man, I'm gonna smoke some pot instead." I can't believe some people on here actually believe pot is a better alternative than chemotheraphy. When chemo Is effective the way it should be, people walk away cancer free. He died 3 years after getting cancer. That's not some super impressive number, there's plenty of people who get cancer and live more than 3 years. Pot is not a cancer cure, at least not to any current knowledge we have. It helps treats symptoms and shows promise of possibly stpping tumor growth. But nothing on it eating cancer away.

We need to stimulate the CBD receptors in our brain for a balanced lifestyle.. Activating these receptors regulates neuronal, vascular, and immune functions.
CB1 - Improves immune function.
CB2 - Maintains bone mass.

Go watch Marley on netflix if you want to know what really happened, his cancer spread from his toe all the way to his brain and stopped of a lot on the way there. He was given x amount of days to live and he beat that. He didn't go to the doctor to have checkups throughout his whole life, he didn't know he had cancer until it was too late. As for the weed consumption, he smoked spliffs which probably wasn't helpful to his cancer...

All I am saying is more people survive cancer from modern medicine than pot has saved. Should I tell someone with breast cancer to just smoke dope and skip treatment? Any logical person would go get treated. Those tests were done on rats, not humans. Not the same thing and would most likely have different results.

 

No, you should tell them to do rick simpson hash oil treatment instead of chemo. and have an extremely healthy diet along the way. thats what I would do. Thats also how tommy chong got rid of his, and countless other people.
