If a turtle loses its shell is it naked or homeless?

    I'm pretty sure its dead without its shell...I am pretty sure it's attached to its spine and that you'd have a real hard time slipping one out of its shell intact and alive..

    I dunno but i hated catching them in the Chesapeake. Things would always swallow the hook and I would feel bad because I know they couldnt survive, guess I should have put them out of their mystery but not easy. But hey out hours and hours from a hospital or good medical care you dont put your hands near them or stingrays.
