I picked up this little bubbler/bong without really considering how easy it will be to tip over. I mostly consume herb in other ways besides this but I thought I'd secure a base to this to make it less likely to tip. My initial thought was to make a Fimo base which could easily be contoured to fit the bottom perfectly then glue it to the bottom after the base has baked. Any other bright ideas? Thanks
That's a cool piece and I'd be hesitant to alter it by gluing a base to it. But, I think making a fimo base for it that you set it in, would be a great idea. You could make one with a swirled pattern to match/contrast the bubbler.
Ya, I like how it looks as is but this may be used by my wife mostly and in our bedroom so I really want to avoid spilling bong water anywhere while using it. Realizing that it does currently have a narrow flat circle for a base, I might make a nice smooth base with some nice wood I have laying around and just glue it to that then stain.
