Yo, I wondered if its possible to train your plant to grow like a vine around something else, like tomatoes do. We have a lot of what is called manuka over here and its like reasonably tall trees but with thin trunks and a puff of foliage at the top. Quite a bit of light filters through, I was thinking it would be cool to try and grow a plant around one, similar to how people have tomatoes.
Yes you can get it to grow like a vine. Bend and tie the branches where you want them. I would avoid growing in the trees, the plant will not get enough light.
