I have an idea on drying my harvest. I have tables set up in my grow room with fans circulating the air and exhaust fans controlling the smell. What I would like to do is set two big totes under the tables, hang the harvest from the lid and drill holes through it to let air circulate through but not big enough to let large quantities of light in. It’s the basically the only climate controlled room I have. Idea being hang the buds, close the lid putting them in darkness but letting air flow through the drilled holes. Any opinions would be appreciated.
Maybe you could install a pc fan into the bucket for exhaust. I'd be worried about mold. I have heard of people doing a similar thing but with a cardboard box
I use one of these. It works great. I trim down to buds on long branches and let them sit in the rack for about 5-6 days then they go in jars with integra boost 55% humidity packs. I only use half the rack usually at a time. www.amazon.com/Apollo-Horticulture-Collapsible-Hydroponic-Drying/dp/B00Z7RDWQ0/ref=sr_1_fkmr0_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1509305247&sr=8-3-fkmr0&keywords=apollo+herb+drying+rack+hanging
