That article is old, bud. That was on the Tarpey raids. Feds Raid Two Fresno-Area Pot Shops I used to go to B4L for wax, that place was awesome despite the drive out of town. The Clovis location was retarded as hell though, and city officials are at least partly at fault for not providing any better locations. They banned clubs within city limits, which left the unincorporated country islands that are surrounded by residential neighborhoods. Before the Feds announced their crackdown, the city/county (pretty sure it was county) passed into law a de facto ban, limiting the clubs to industrial zones only and requiring them to get a license to be in operation. The license would be like a Marijuana Tax Stamp; NOBODY will be getting one. The requirements on the buildings include garbage like "no trees or bushes nearby that burglars and thieves could use to hide in" 24/7 video security, uniformed guards, etc etc ad nauseum. As for the latest actions, there was no warning, at least none that any of us patients knew of. Even another local club ended up closing for the day when they heard about B4L getting raided. What the retards in control don't realize (or maybe they do..?) is that we patients aren't going to just go away. I already have hookups for wax from other patients, the difference is when I buy from them they don't pay taxes and they don't employ people. The politicians pretend to be interested in $$ and jobs and yet here they are cutting down one of the ONLY industries that are growing right now. It's beyond asinine, but that's life in Cali's Central Valley. We get the liberal shit from LA and SF, and the conservative shit from the valley. We get MMJ, but our county/city violates State law by banning it. It's infuriating.
