  1. Some people are stupid. I can't smoke and drive really. So I don't do burn cruises. Haven't in over a year. Last time I was with my man.. And it was so long ago. But people like me who know they can't shouldn't. And there are idiots. And that puts people in dangerSent from my H866C using Grasscity Forum mobile app

  3. I think it should stay illegal, but not for your reasons. The rush of having something you aren't supposed to is half the fun of blazin up. Just think about how accomplished you feel having a stash you managed to keep hidden from the system, pretty radical. And if it was legal I'd be broke lol.

To be honest I get no rush from doing something illegal. The only illegal activities I partake in are things that should be legal as far as I'm concerned.

Conversely, I don't generally follow the law because it is the law. I follow the law because generally that is what is right for me to do.

I don't get how you would prefer that your rights can be taken away from you if you're caught possessing marijuana over being able to have and smoke marijuana without any chance of negative consequences from the law.

  6. Gunna have to disagree... It was hippies that didn't trust the government in the 60s and 70s so I deff think you got it all wrong... As hippies were chill ppl why do we need guns anyway...when I'm stoned the last thing I wanna do is pop of some guns unless we talkin C.O.D lol

  8. I'm from NYC, Drug laws are utilized here, and in most states, as a tool for police to attack poorer neighborhoods and treat everyone living there like a criminal. We have stop and frisk laws here which allow the NYPD to stop and search anyone if they look suspicious, which usually means they look too black. These drug laws also allow police to designate whole areas as drug dens because there's one drug dealer there, so instead of dealing with the indeivdual who they believe is breaking the law, they attack the entire project, neighborhood, block, etc. I suggest everyone watch The House I Live In, it's on Netflix, and it is an amazing documentary on the history of the War on Drugs and how it is used to destroy communities.

I love weed as a recreational activity as well as a tool to work through my depression. I think it is wonderful for whatever use, but of course it can be abused and turn you into a zombie, but anything can do that. The internet, games, porn, excessive working out, etc., people become 'zombies' because they don't feel good about themselves, not because of weed.

  10. Great post, you shed light on something Milton Friedman talks about with the War on Drugs and how it destroys communites and keeps people in poverty. I will definitely check that movie out.

  11. I don't think it should be available to everyone. Most 21-year olds are dumb and will drink and smoke then get a DUI and blame it on marijuana. There are a lot of bad things to legalization. It will prove that marijuana is not for medical use but used to get messed up on. Marijuana is nothing like alcohol and to treat it like it is - an insult. Marijuana is for medical purpose only. Marijuana patients shouldn't have to deal with smoked out budtenders that know nothing about strains or benefits from each one. He got the job to smoke weed all day. I think Washington State better leave us medical patients alone and have it separate from legal weed. I think as patients we should pay less, carry more, and grow more.

How did you type all of that without any punctuation at all?

  13. 100% of what you said is baseless. Weed has medical benefits, sure. But it is a plant, and for that reason alone it should be decriminalized. Who gives a shit what some ignorant anti- weed folk say? Fuck em, people will do stupid shit because, wait for it, people are stupid. Weed or no weed, alcohol or no alcohol, people will do stupid things. And most bud tenders are pretty knowledgeable from my experience and from friends anecdotes, maybe that's a you problem and not a universal problem. I don't care if my bud tender is lifted or sober, as long as he can do his job, it's ok.

  14. Topic starter is dumb. The hippies were about protests and revolt and weed was their main drug

Man I haven't smoked in over a month and after reading these replies I'm starting to question weeds affect on the brain. What I get here is that bud smokers have for the longest time complaines about weed being illegal yet here we are with progression andtwo legal states yet all people can do is moan and bitch that it should stay illegal and that prices are too high

  16. The down side is small businesses (dealers) will not be able to make as many deals, as their main customer would be underage teens.
