No, I don't mean a thread where people who were previously banned can post in it. My idea is that there would be a thread made by the Grasscity Admins where they post who got banned and the reason why. For example: HightillIdie:Banned for spam
Been mentioned before...won't happen... In doing so, you would be celebrating/enshrining/immortalizing banned members... Remember...as part of the agreement everyone makes when signing up as a member of GC, you agree to abide by the rules...people are not banned for no reason...they are banned because they did not live up to what they voluntarily said they would do...follow the rules...they did not live up to their word... Pretty sure that's not the type of people GC wants to celebrate...
..... definitely not lol if you PM us you are more than likely to find out why people were banned, but we arent going to put up a huge ass wall of shame lol

How many cool members who were banned do you think come back on new names? And as I said before I don't know why if that's against the rules they wouldn't just ip ban you right away. I think they deserve a second chance anyways
well here is the thing, if you come back under another alias, and are causing no problems, how would we ever know you had come back? BUT generally speaking, people who get banned, if they come back, come back, play nice for a bit, then end up getting in trouble again and we figure it out pretty quickly from there EDIT: and i mean, we give most people tons of chances... unless you do a bunch of whack stuff all in a row you have to accrue 50 infraction points to be perm banned, and thats pretty much 4 infractions, 4 chances, BUT you also will generally get a warning before an infraction (for the first time you break a specific rule or depending on the situation) so its more than 2 chances by a long shot

I assume I would make another account if I ever got banned and try to stay out of trouble. I just think saying its against the rules is unnecessary if they're not causing any problems. The breaking the rule part of coming back should be them continually breaking the rules. If that makes any sense lol
there are definitely people we ban that we dont want coming back, hence the rule is a blanket for all banned members hahaha
Yeah but it's not really the amount of chances you give, it's the fact that the infraction stays there for years. So you basically get a couple chances to screw up, but each screw up is like a 1-2 year jail sentence. I think an infraction should be like getting grounded. You screw up, you get a warning that falls off after a month or two, but sticking a two year or year and a half infraction for something like disrespecting another member is extreme on another level. We all have bad days or go through rough periods, but being in trouble still for something you typed on the Internet a year ago is retarded IMO.

If you hit someone in the face having a bad day and got an assault charge, it doesn't just go away cause you were having a bad day hahahahahaha If you are having a bad day and need to blow off steam, don't do it on gc, and if you do, make sure its just blowing steam and not breaking a rule
I have a few infractions right now that are 17 months before they expire. Look if u don't believe me.

I have two that say they never expire. lol They were for indirectly calling someone an idiot and a moron if I remember correctly... Doesn't really matter though, just don't do it again and you won't get banned.

It's not hard to follow rules, but it is hard to beat an infraction. Are you really going to compare an assault charge to an infraction? Seriously? Whether you will admit it or not, some mods have it out for you. Had one who wouldn't leave me alone for the longest time, hence the trouble. Ironically, when a mod doesn't like you, it's easy to get in trouble for doing the same things everyone else is doing in the same thread, but I digress. Mods have the final say and are clearly never biased
