Our plant has 13+ blades per leaves some even more, she has some leaves that are fused...overall I don't know whT to make of them, we were given these beans by an associate who said they were orange kush...the tallest stands at 11.5" We also have a grow journal here on GC if u guys wants to come by and make some observations Thanks for any advice in advance
Hm seems very bush, maybe mostly indica, possible stunned growth to have made the leaves produce like that? Give it time, looks like a healthy plant should do fine.
Due to lack of lighting and flower nutes they were still vegging since 9/25 it's been 5 weeks, were hoping on some preflowers by now but we may be too inexperienced to be able to tell yet. we we are switching to flower tonight... Still dont know if they r females ( We have 4 in dwc and three babies that sprouted by surprise in soil http://forum.grasscity.com/indoor-marijuana-growing/915962-beginner-grower-my-set-up.html
i had this same problem its due to not enough light and if you do not add more light they will turn into males when switched to 12/12, if additional lighting is not added
Yea plants are definitely too big in my opinion for the set up with florescent. I've got a train wreck cut that grows like that. I mean Im not hating if that's what you got go with it but from what I can see they look good except it like they are hungry for nutes and light just a tad. Unless they are a lot smaller than Im guessing I would reccomend a 250 hps and they'd spark up big time. I mean, honestly overall they dont look bad. Also its kinda crowded in there, some plants hate it more than others but overall they hate crowding.
Thanks, we will definitely be adding supplemental lighting... Today my hubby built a new frame for the bulbs and we just picked up 6 more 2700ks. So these babies will have damn near 40k lumens of mixed spectrum lighting. We switched to flowering tonight and Wednesday we will get the flowering nutes going to continue with the sensi line... It's our very first grow please forgive our inexperience, our next one will be awesome now that we are better prepared
Do you know if there are any compound words in their vocabulary that they're able to take advantage of?
If the secret to getting more females is adding more light, why do growers still get males? I'm just curious because I'd surely max out the light if I could ensure that every one would be female with more light.
Update I think I have a female, woke up this morning and did my rounds and found this on one of my lst'd soil experiments... I've been bitten by the grow bug, don't judge me
Can't really see much in the pic, but if it's a little white hair coming out then you've got a female.
Please, don't give out incorrect information... not having enough lighting in flower has no role on a plant's sex. You'll just have airy buds and low yield. Whether a plant is male or female is determined before that seed is even planted. However, having too many stress factors can cause a plant to hermie, though - causing a female to start producing "nanners" (they look like bananas) which will pollinate just as a male would, but just not having sufficient lighting won't cause this. As for the leaves, OP. It's just a genetic mutation and really won't have any effect on the plant. Leaf mutations aren't all that uncommon - I had 11 bladed leaves on one of my plants in my last grow.
Thank u that is good to know...I didn't know what to make of the 15 leaf I found later too, at least I'm at ease on that point. It can be a little frustrating here in GC trying to sort thru what's accurate and not so I take it I admit as it comes and if it's theory based and has a valid argument I takenit into consideration, or search thru GC or the web to find facts to back it up, but as u can see some people can lead us on a wild goose chase down a steep hill...
i've always heard that the more fingers the better the plant...not too sure how true this is, but i'm pretty proud of my 11 finger plant thats a month old...
