So while in the process of building my stealth grow box, I decided that while I started on it to germinate some seeds so that when the box was done I could just put em in and be ready to rock... To my dismay, it took a little longer the first 2 days to get the supplies gathered and start to set stuff up, MEANWHILE the seeds popped and I had to rush out and get some organic soil and coconut husk pots to start it all in... I figured what the hell I can get the box done before they break soil, sounded do-able to Me... As I tend to get side tracked on GC and a little too high to be using power tools sometimes, its been 2 days and the 3 plants are about 2 inches tall, they have been sitting in my desk drawer in my room in complete darkness, would I be better off to rig some sort of light to put on them 24/0 like I plan on when this box is done, or should I just let them do their thing in the dark? I'm worried about stressing them by starving them of light when they are so young, but if they get moved to 3 different places in the next 2 days with varying light will it harm them?
I would say definitely get some lights on them. They have enough food from seed to last a few days but pretty soon they're going to need to make their own which they can't do without light.
You need some light even if its just a 42 watt cfl bulb. Keep it about an inch from the plant and buy a reflector for it.
