I think I bought some dud weed :(

    Ok, so,, picked up off a good friend who gets it from this guy,, he has always said its good weed etc, so i got an 8th.. smelt strong, a bit sticky, not really crystally, and pull apart, but didnt crumble, has some stalks and stuff still on when i bought it. We started smoking.. 1 joint-nothing felt, 2- nothing 3- nothing and after EIGHT joints we felt absolutely nothing, decided to put pure green in.. twice, still nothing. The next day (today my mate feels really sick and ill) My brothers a bit of a 'vetran' when it comes to this stuff, he looked at the weed and was convinced it was real, he said the only possibilty is that it could be hemp.
    Can anyone help me get to the bottom of this?!?

    i was gonna say maybe its been vaped already but if your buddy says he's a reliable dealer idk

    Im convinced this stuff is weed.. if i took a picture on here, would that help atall? I think i got a bud bit left. and also, is there another way i could get high off it if its vaped.. i think i got about 2.0g HA.

    yea dude post a pic

    but sadly if its vaped there is slim to no chance you'll get high, talk to your friend about it or save some and show him what you mean...have him talk with the guy

    edit: you smoked with your friend...jsut have him talk to the dealer

    It isn't, it really is green, with little occasional red/orange hair,,, the lighting on the camera made it deceptive in the photos.. =/

    maybe it came from a male plant? i wasnt aweare that male plants could even pruduce buds but my freiend said they do and it doesent get you high

    I've bought weed before that was definitely weed but it didn't get me more than 10% high

    I could tell just by breaking it up that it was probably cured incorrectly...it just crumbled into dust. The taste was different and there was very little smoke when I exhaled. I'm no middle schooler who doesn't know the difference. I bought it because it was from my regular dealer and it was clearly marijuana. Just a bad crop, I guess. It happens, just keep your eyes open and try to avoid that same strain in the future if you can.

    ok, thanks guys =]. Might try some in a bong next time.. see if i get any difference, and no, this is the first time ive been the one to get it in ages, first ive come across weird weed lol!

    It looks like it might be some of that "legal bud" (aka random herbs with little to no psychoactive effects).

    Looks legit, does it smell at all like vegetable oil or anything weird like that? We had bud before that was soaked in vegetable oil to make brownies or THC pills and then got resold it.

    Does the shit light weird?

    How did you smoke eight joints from an eighth, and still have two grams remaining....are you smoking like .2 gram joints??????


    ah well aside from that I can only think that the bud had been cured terribly.... or its a fluke of God and there is no answer....

    thats what I was thinking.. but anyways dude ive never ran into a problem like that before maybe just don't buy off him any more
