I REALLY want to get back onto a farm. ( South Oregon )

  1. I live in Jackson County Oregon and finding farms is the most difficult thing I have ever tried to do. They don't advertise anything because they are not really allowed to outside of dispensaries. Most farms don't have business names or locations anywhere and I have seen that VERY few of them even have a name for their farm or are registered as an actual business outside of the license they might have for the olcc.

Can anyone help me out and get me some tips? I have found a few but like 8/10 places I actually found that have social media or a website are far away from me. I have a few years experience and the last farm I was on couldn't pay me anymore so they let me go.

  5. You will find a good crew soon enough.

  6. Below is a site connecting people with organic farms looking for farm hands.

    WWOOF

The only thing is that it's designed for volunteers. You get free accomodation and usually at least one free meal per day in exchange for work. Each farm sets its own rules, though.
If you volunteered on a farm first and impressed them, they might hire or recommend you to someone local who will.
There are farms all over the states (and the world) registered on that site..

    Good luck

  7. Theres a farm hiring off of old stage Rd. Between gold Hill and central point.
