I really dislike ignorant people

    So my mother is against me using marijuana just because it is "illegal". Im now applying to colleges and in highschool i got a 3.1gpa. im a senior. i have had atleast 6 concussions from football and that is the cause of me being somewhat "Stupider". sometimes its hard for me to think of a word even though i know it. its hard to explain unless you know. I also get massive migraines and body aches because of like 12 years of physical sports. i use the herb for pain management at times and for anxiety. i over think alot of things and it causes me to be worried alot at times. I get good grades and am a varsity athlete! My dad smokes and i dont understand why she is so against me using it. i even vape so i dont inhale smoke. god she is just so ignorant. and when i bring up the fact of me moving out she says i cant and i tell her that i will if she keeps acting this way. she thinks i got my brother into smoking as well. i told him to wait until he was 18 just like a big brother would say. she flipped on me today because she found out my brother smokes and she thinks its my fault. im on the verge of just moving out and cutting all contact with her. i cant deal with this. she thinks its going to ruin my life but ive never been caught in my almost 4 years of smoking. what should i say to her to make her try and accept it. im so done :confused:

    Don't, just don't get caught man. Be smart about it and don't let it fuck up your life.

    if she starts piss testing me ill seriously fucking shit in the cup. im an adult i can do what i want. i bought a mflb so i can be descrete and not have her smell it. ive been caught alot before but all shes ever done was get mad at me. my dad even gave me my weed back but he smokes. i dont understand parents!!!

    Definitely hide your stuff. Don't buy any big bongs or hard to conceal smoking devices. Plenty of peeps stealth smoke (including me). Get yourself a small pipe or vape and control where your smoke goes.

    i have a mflb, dugout, and a small pipe. when i smoke i just go in my backyard.

    yea man but i told her ill move out if she doesnt want me to do it, and shes just like no you wouldnt i wont let you. i mean id have to quit sports and get a job to pay for rent and stuff but id just finish hs and go to college next summer. im almost 19 btw guys. she confuses me

    how can she lose the house, the kids, and she doesnt have a job. if i smoke in my backyard.???? im not growing or holding onto lbs at the house

    Brah, just lie and tell her you've stopped smoking if she already blatantly knows about it. If she doesn't know for sure then ignore and refute whatever her claims. Once that's established then be cool about smoking it on the premises or simply smoke outside the house.

    OP Move out, but don't cut all ties with her then you can smoke all you want. Like someone said above, if you're in her house you have to follow her rules.

    I would say "show her the Union" but people seem to be very opinionated when it comes to marijuana.

    Dude you might as well be stealthy, or wait 'til you have a free house and make enough edibles to last you for a week or so :)

    Just tell her you want to debate her on the subject when she has time. Then assure her you're focused on your goals and would only use beer or weed in moderation.

    Once you have a chance to debate her, go through a check list of talking points until she realizes you'e making a rational and adult decision to smoke. But take this opportunity seriously. Do your share of internet research and take notes.

    Dude just move out... Thats what i did, i live in an appt complex which is the shit, and i can smoke all i want, in fact i have a little grow room cuz i got my card, you just have to be super responsible, make your payments, make sure you work enough hours, and dont smoke during work or school, im goin full time in college, and part time work, and it is amazing... Moving out was probably the best thing, also you will have to leave sports for sure... I had to and it sucks, but you will get used to it... Best of luck to u man... Crap... One more thing, dont cut ties with ur mom man, cuz my mom absolutely hated it that i smoked... Then she got her card because all sorts of things were wrong with her and now were best friends again she helps me out if i run into trouble and i help her out if she runs out... Again good luck with your endeavors!!!
