I read it some place

  1. I read some place (could be here)
That you can harvest just buds that are ready and let the rest grow. Kinda like a tomato plant and not just chop the whole plant down.

    Any chance???

  3. yes you can harvest early flowers dry and toke them but sequential flowers/buds will be smaller,
by taken the whole plant at its 'peak' you get the whole lot the plant can give at once,
    ready to sow seeds again

    cheers

  4. There were 10 days between chops and I haven't had any problems or buds getting smaller.

  6. That’s nice. Are you cutting back the branches as you remove the higher buds ?

  7. IMO, there isn't enough difference between early or later ripening buds to worry over it. If I was out of weed and had a plant with a bud ripening a week before another, I'd take that bud first but since I hadn't been out in over 40 years I'm only assuming that's what I'd do. TBH, if I was out, I'd take a bud even if it was a little too early. That's just the way I roll.
