Now they are 24 days old, I added some nutes to them because they were showing signs of deterioration, like getting holes and some leaf tips yellowing. So I bought some Earth Juice, gave 2 plants a small dose to see how it was, it seemed to affect them positively so I gave some to all and now it seems I am experiencing nute burn. So should I flush right now? Or at least let it dry out more and then flush. My plants are in 3 gallon pots, my pH is about 7. I know it could be better and im only using papers so I cant get the best reading. But either way the plants are deff experiencing some trauma and they have all just gotten worse. Will it matter if I flush with water that could potentially have chlorine in it, I dont have enough containers to distill enough water for 6 plants in 3 gal pots. Is it not 2 gallon for every gallon or how much is the ratio.
Can you get us some pics? Shouldn't hurt to flush as long as they're not already drowning. A flush and lower nutes should be alright, try 1/4 what you used before. As for distilling the water just leave some out for 24 hours and the chlorine will evaporate.
Ok here are some if you want, I mean its pretty much nute burn but for example, the one with those 2 holes in and along with some yellowing leaf tips started BEFORE I added any Eath Juice, which is what prompted me to do so as others also advised me to. Thing was they seemed to respond well, I tested it on 2, but now there all pretty bad. Maybe its just me but they "seem" better today after I flished each one with like 2 1/2 gallons, they are in 3 gallon pots I know I should have done more but I was not prepared for that amount of run off it was bad enough already. Although I do have 50% or more perlite in each of them...
Well they really don't look to bad man you could probably get away with not flushing them but im sure it would be better to give them what water you can
Well i already gave then a small flush, I think they shall recover and growth is still coming in very well still. Would you say I should back off the nutes for a week or two but this problem all started because I thought they were starting to lack I mean they are 3 weeks old now.
i'd start with a very low % of nute then over like 3ish weeks build it up to full strength Its less traumatic for them to have too little nute then too much. just soil and water is all the plant really needs for the first few weeks Good luck man Check out my grow if you want
I know this was my first mistake, it just feels so LONG already.. but only been now, 25 days. Im actually scared to try any for like a week but I will think about adding just the smallest touch of some EJ, I think may have just used too much.
