I need some advice with weight/price

Discussion in 'Apprentice Marijuana Consumption' started by TokeIllestBuds, Oct 7, 2010.

  1. Okay, so one I've been looking around and asking some of my friends and such and can't seem to get a reliable answer.
    FIRST
I would like to know how much a:
    Nic
    Dime
    Dub
    Eighth
    and
    Quarter
weigh, I can't seem to get the same answer from more than one person.

    SECOND
Let's say the bud I'm trying to buy is some nice upper mids,
what would the prices of the weights listed before be? (as in like a minimum to maximum price)

thanks a lot everyone in advance.

  2. Low/decent mids.

    Nic - 1g most likely.
    Dime - 2-2.25g ish.
Dub - If you're buying low quality weed, a dub is more than an eighth (an 8th is about $15) so a dub will be about 4.5g.
    Eighth
    and
Quarter - I paid $35 for my most recent. 7g.

decent/upper mids: (please note, your 'upper' mids could be considered normal mids to people, so this is an estimation.)

    Nic - .4-.5g/$5
    Dime - 1g/$10
    Dub - 2.5g/$20
    Eighth - 3.5g/$30-$35
    and
    Quarter - $55-65/7g

I'm sorry if I misinterpreted your question.

And, just for reference, the term 'nickel, dime, and dub' are used to tell how much money it is. Nickel = 5 bucks, dime = 10, dub = 20.

An eighth and a quarter are measurements of weight. A quarter (Quarter of an OZ, 28g) is 7 grams. An Eighth is 3.5g.

Hopefully something I said helps you in some way.

  3. yeah thanks a lot you put a lot into perspective
    but...

so a "nic, dime, or dub" can be different weights, but an eighth will always be 3.5 and a quarter always 7??

  4. Always. A nickel of dank (Nickel = $5 worth) could be .3g, while an eighth of dank will ALWAYS be 3.5 grams.

An eighth of anything, always 3.5g.

A nickel, dime, and dub are all relative to prices. If it's $5/gram, a nickel would be $5, a dime = $10 and a dub will always be $20. Knowing the price per gram, you can get a rough estimate of how much you're going to receive.

  5. thanks alot my dude, you helped alot
    +rep

  6. No problem. Before I even smoked, I studied everything I could so I knew exactly what I was doing. Didn't want to get ripped off, smoke crack laced weed, get shot, etc. I'm glad to share if I know :D.
