Is this REALLY marijuana? I planted a seed on April 15. It seems to me that this is a little on the small side. I have it planted it in Pro-Mix BX and I fertilize it, regularly, with Miracle-Gro. Does this seem the right size? Is it male or female? How many ounces of pot can I expect to get from this. Any advice? Thank you, in advance.
Looks like. Hell of a stem on it. Hows your air circulation...not sure about that green stuff in the medium there.
No my plants are 2 weeks old and are about that size, Can't tell the sex yet and you won't even get an ounce. But i can't say for sure as its not in flower. But i agree whats your growing environment like?
Yeah it's cannabis. If that's moss growing it could be over watered contributing to slow growth. The regular fertilizing with miracle grow is causing the tips to turn bright yellow. What is the lighting? Male or Female is unknown at this time because it is not in flowering stage. (12 hrs light / 12 hrs dark ) How many hours per day does your plant get light? Right now, in your stage, it should have: 18 hrs light / 6 hrs dark) or 24 hrs light but it is not natural and all living things need rest. The amount you will get depends on how big your plant can get. If you put it into flowering stage right now, it would probably give you about 1-10 gram as a guess. Not very much at all. My advice. Do not water the soil until it is dry. If you have a meter to determine soil moisture, it is around setting 3. If not, I would get one. Very helpful. If not, wait until the soil is dry to about 3" down. Aerate the soil with a tooth pick gently to allow some air to enter and dry out the medium. Once it is dry, get some fresh water and pour it in the pot until it almost over flows. You will notice the water is going to be brown. This is normal. Keep adding water until it almost spills out until the water runoff is clear, like the water coming out of the sink or your water bottle. I would most likely wait until the next time the soil is 75-90% dry to water again. Temp, pH of your water, pH of soil, humidity, light, ventilation all are factors that would also help determine any issue. If you have to use miracle grow, get a teaspoon and think of it like a rectangle with 4 squares in it. Only fill up 1 of those squares to gallon or two of water. At that stage, the plants do not really need fertilizer. And miracle grow is very high in NPK to give to a juvenile so that might be why you're asking if it's cannabis and if the growth is normal. I like to start on NPK of 2 3 1. (bio marine) Then over time 5-15-14 (maxibloom) Whereas, Miracle Gro All Purpose NPK is 24-8-16 Let it dry out, flush with regular water until runoff is clear. And when it dries out from the flush, I think you will see some new growth. Make the top of your soil look like the sahara desert for right now.
The perlite is growing algae or moss on it. It is normal in wet environments. But not for your grow so it needs to dry out.
Looks like moss, but I wouldn't really know. I posted a photo of it. The plant gets eighteen hours of light a day; too much? 5 grams, eh? well, next time I'll have to plant more! Dry, flush and then moderate; got it! I look forward to helping you, next!
Pre- Flower's show before full flower They look like Caylx's to me, the one on the right seem's to be showing two small Pistil's pokeing out.
I currently grow 2 northern lights from seeds. Vege them 2 months. One is a dwarf pheno that struggled since day one with slow growing and now week 8 of flowering I can tell it will yield less than an Oz of leafy buds. Should have trashed it I won't break even with nutes, electricity etc.. If you have more plant or seeds call it weak genetics compost it and re start. Sorry..
