So I got with my buddy and we talked about growing. We decided we were going to go 50/50 with everything. I know everything about growing. This will be my first year growing and his first time even thinking about it but I am an expert gardener. If I can get 15 lbs per plant in tomatoes, then I'm sure I can grow a nice harvest in weed. The only hole in our plan is that he is a teacher so during the summer he leaves in late May and comes back in early August for his summer job in another state and I don't have a ride in those months so I figured our plan was done until I remembered autos. I figured with autoflowering plants, that we can start them when he gets back in August and have a nice little harvest. Then I thought, well damn we could get two harvests in, March-May and then August-October. I have found over 15 great grow spots. They have great sunlight, water sources, and away from people. We're going to grow our ladies in 5 gallon grow bags. I am going to give them blood meal and potash for the first two weeks of growth and then start feeding them guano until about two weeks before harvest and then leech. We're going to grow 15 plants in the spring grow and then 15 more in the fall. I wanted to grow 6 different strains, 5 of each. They'll be feminized. I want 3 indicas and three sativas. So I have a series of questions: 1. Should I mix the bloodmeal and potash into the soil, side dress it, or apply it in teas? 2. Should I sidedress, work it in to the top few inches of the soil, or apply the guano in teas? 3. Will the plants have enough sunlight in the fall to get big enough to produce? 4. Are 5 gallon buckets big enough? 5. What autoflowering strains do you blades recommend for outdoors that Attitude or Sensible has? 6. Miracle gro, Jungle growth, Organic choice, Sta-green, and Robin hood potting soil are the only choices I have of soil. Which would you guys recommend? 7. Is Jock Horror and Afghan kush ryder good choices? 8. Will this work?
Ignore anything with miracle grow. This isn't much help, but why not just do 1 bigger spring crop if you have all those spots? IMO, the late crops are usually because you got ripped, something went wrong or you just don't have space and need a smaller crop. If you can, you'll be better off with 1 big spring crop and then if you are unhappy with the yield or feel you still need more you could try a later crop. I don't have any experience with autos as my boss told me not to mess with them, but I think starting them in aug is getting a little late.
Well I'm going to start the seeds in February and July in peat pellets and plant them in pots when he gets back in August. My plan is to germinate the first batch in February, flower throughout March and April then harvest in May. Then on the second batch do the same thing. I'll germinate in July, flower throughout August and September then harvest in October. If anyone knows of good autoflower strains for outdoors that are either indica or sativa, then please share. I need 2 more indicas and 2 more sativas. I already have Afghan Kush Ryder and Jock Horror. Please help.
im doing my first grow now and i just harvested my first plant 2 weeks ago. i used 5 gallon bags and my first plant was 1.5 ft(LST) and pulled just about a qp and my second is 6 ft tall now about 4 weeks in flower.. i also started a little late in late july and my second plant will be ready in mid november way i see it if you start a little late just get a plant that flowers a little later in the year and if your worried about freeze get a plant that grows well in colder conditions imma fla grower myself
If u use that blood meal youre going to attract every meat eating animal in the woods and theyre going to fuck your shit up. Dont use it. Bat guano, rabbit shit, and chicken shit are all you need. Maybe some 10-10-10 ferts.

I think I ought to just feed them a high P guano from seed.
