so I finally started making my pc grow box but I cannot find out how to hook up my 3 socket light fixture which has 3 cfl 5500k to a power source all I have to work with is a black and white wire can someone please help me hook this up to a power source.......thanks!
You need the right wires... We know nothing about what bulbs, sockets and wires you're talking about, so it would be hard to give you any good advice. Why don't you just buy the wires and sockets that fit? They're relatively cheap. The color-temp you are reffering to has nothing to do with power-supply...
in most cases black is negative and white is positive so just wire it up to a 120v power cord but do it right as to not burn down the place
and we can see why i dont wire houses for a living lol. my extent of wiring stuff is jumping car batteries hence the black being neg and guess and checking my pc fans lol
