I need help on getting started outdoor Growing

Discussion in 'Growing Marijuana Outdoors' started by TurkishWeed, Oct 15, 2011.

  1. Hey Cannabis family, my name is Cagri. I am new to growing marijuana.

We are 1 month away until winter begins, and when its the last day of winter i am planning on growing marijuana outdoors in a safe, secure enviroment. Which i still havnt found one yet but hopefully i do. And i really hope i find one that has a water SOURCE near by. I have been researching off the internet on different guides for 1 and a half weeks.

I need help on which nutrients i should use, and i need to know how i add it and when. Also how much i add. I need simple information please, dont go on the advanced english that will just get me confused. Also what should i buy that will tell me the Ph of the soil and water? And what should the soil and waters ph be all the time? And how much will it cost me to buy this item. (Need the name of the item too please) If i am growing outdoors, and i cannot find good soil to prepare, should i buy soil and then the place wher i will plant dig up a hole big as a flower pot and then add the soil in? Also if so which soil should i buy?

Please name me the things that will not cost too much. Nothing that will cost me above 50 dollars or more. I need cheap, simple information for now. And maybe in the future like next year when i become a bit more advanced then i can move on further to the next stage. Thanks for checking out my thread, and if you have any simple, cheap, easy english information please feel free to share it with me and others. Happy token, happy growing Stoner families! :)

  2. You shouldn't start until end of April or beginning of June.

  3. I live in turkey. So suppose its the last day of winter, how many days weeks or months later should i begin?

  4. Can you toss up a weather forecast for the month in an area that has weather close to what yours is?

Have you thought of starting the plants indoors and then moving them outdoors to flower?:confused_2:

  5. fist do you have a spot that will get at least 8 hours of sun?

  6. That looks like winter is just starting based on temps. Some of them are too low unless you are using a greenhouse?:confused_2: If that chart applies to you it says jan is the coldest month would be the same as everyone else jan-feb=winter?

  7. OP, if that temp chart looks correct to you, then you might be able to get away with a late March, early April outdoor plant. You'd start your natural veg. stage, and then eventually as the daylight hours decreased going into autumn, your plant would naturally transition into the flowering period.

  8. I livie in Turkey (Eskisehir) not antalya. Outdoors in a spot with good sun light, safe. I dig a big hole as a flower pot, and add sterile moist soil into it alm ost all the way to the top. And my germinated seeds begin to sprout the white thing, should i add it into that sterile most soil outdoors if so how deep? or should i get a paper cup with holes pinched on the bottom with the same sterile moist soil added into it. Then how deep should i plant the sprout in it, if so and this is what i have to do do i wait for the 2nd set of leave to come out on the cup and then add it to the other door hole i prepared? Thanks all for helping me :)

  9. i bet if he got a cold strain like afghan indica he could start now if it didnt drop too cold

  10. Yeah well winter is coming in a month or so, and it lasts for 5-6 months. ANd im planning to grow the seed that i get off the bag that i bought off the streets. Also should i use the greyish whitish seed or full green for outdoor growing ?

  11. "Afghan indica" will tolerate the 32 degrees outdoor temps the forecast says he is up against tonight? That is amazing!!!!
IMHO no seedling is going to tolerate 32degree temps at night? It is going to freeze the seedling before it even stands up?
Now you could use a dome and maybe get it started but next month your highest temps are not even 60? You will have to build a a makeshift greenhouse in order for it to even have a chance? It will end up with nute lock from the low temps and the night temps unprotected will almost surely kill it!:(
As for the seed I would most definitely put it a cup and not the ground?
The white seeds most of the time are like immature seeds.
I would save your good seeds for summer.
Pop one if you must but you are really gonna have to work hard to keep it alive? Some type of greenhouse tent is going to be a must.

  12. I didnt say i will begin outdoors in a month, i said i will begin when winter is over. Winters begins in a month here or so, and ends in like 5 months or so. I will begin with a cup indoors beside a window and window open at hot times not rainy or a bit cold. And when the first set of leaves come out i will begin outdoors some where. I think this is a good idea if not tell me. Oh before the cup thing of course i will use the papertowel method to germinate it.
