I was told by a friend of mine that I have an arrest warrant out. My cousin's roommate doesn't approve of weed at all, and gets pissed when is in the house. He found some on his little brother in his house and called the cops. He some how got some one to sign some legal document with him saying its not his, but it is mine. But that would be impossible because I've moved out out of the USA for about a month and a half now. Is there anything I can do about this? I'm still not sure how he put that shit on me or how that document he signed works. Any help will be appreciated!
theyre not gonna go out looking for you in some other country for what i could almost bet was less than $50 of weed
Just lay low dude they're not gonna extradite yo ass over a bit of weed, play clueless if you're caught, don't come back for i'd say atleast a year cause it's just weed, and don't see the roomate if you come back.
I know that they won't come here over it, but I don't want to be arrested if I come back to the States.
I doubt the cops would spend the resources and time required to find and detain you after you get back for a little bit of weed.
if you do come back to the states and get pulled over they will run your name and youll get arrested. just stay where youre at bro
You will more than likely be arrested. They won't necessarily hunt you down, but if you're ever back in the states and you get pulled over or stopped in security at the air port etc I have no doubt you will be arrested. That is, assuming you have a warrant for your arrest. You can beat the wrap but you can't beat the ride. Keep that in mind next time you try to be clever with a cop.
lol 2 things: first they wont come after you for that you'll know for sure if you have a warrant, they send you a million letters and call ur house, you wont miss it man.
Contact a lawyer stateside and explain the scenario. They'll be able to check if there is a warrant. Although, some dicktectives refuse to acknowledge/confirm a warrant bc they assume you'll split. Fuck cops.
You could go on the DMV web-site, search state laws, find which ones require barely any documents, use stolen documents and live another persons name, you could even do a dead person, or dead friend, or better yet homeless person or junkie they will sell that shit no problem if they have it. OG birth certificate and OG SS card is all that's needed in some states, so you'd assume that person and their age and name.
When you re enter the US in the same state as the warrant you will be arrested on the spot at an airport and held to see if the issuing authority wants to come get you or will just transfer you to them. If you re enter in another state in an airport you will be held if it's a felony and extradited to the issuing authorities location. If it's a misdemeanor you will be just notified of the warrant and the issuing authority will be notified of your last known location. If they charge you as a fugitive from justice for leaving the US you will be arrested on the spot and transferred or extradited immediately. Call your countries US embassy and ask what your status is for a visa and or arrest warrant status. Or just call the local police department where you used to live and ask them. If they say they can't tell you over the phone that you have to come in in person and ask you have a warrant and it's a trick to arrest you.
So essentially anyone who is caught with weed can sign some paper and then automatically whoever they say it belonged to is fucked?? I'm guessing they might have signed something to say they'd be a witness if you were ever caught? Just sounds a little funny to me is all
Yeahhhh they don't have any proof that it was your marijuana. You're fine- there is no warrant. If this was possible, I would have signed over nearly an ounce now in bud the police have taken from me as "someone elses marijuana" because they believe that one "it's not mine dude, I'm just holding it for a friend; don't charge me with it"
lol, sounds like an impossiblly dificult crime for you to be found guilty of. Just carry on however you normally would. If you end up getting arrested at some point, spend the money on a lawyer. THEN when you are not guilty sue the people who 'framed' you for court costs plus emotional stress, loss of time, loss of money and detriment to your name.
sheeet....You basically gotta be very near, and in the same state for anyone to give you a problem when they run your ID for some bullshit warrant.. If it is some serious shit like a felony, yeah they'll pick you up as soon as they find out who you are.
You can to that in Missouri. But my friend who told me is a cop. And I'm pretty sure he won't bull shit me on this.
