Game maker is the key to getting simple games on app store or play store man... Powerful as fuck! Wont lie I have a software engineering degree but for something as simple as bass invaders using game maker I wouldn't say you'd need that much programming experience. Just got back from week boarding so got shit to sort out but when I'm clear I will update this thread with some info and links if you wanna get started with somthing on Game Maker, art skills are necessary but only basic ones. programs like toon boom and illustrator make half decent art simplish these days.
