I live in NY, where is it legal to use my medical marijuana?

    I have a medical prescribed vape pen. If I want to just go for a walk down the street and puff it is that legal? Where can I legally use it? I like to go out for walks and hiking etc

    Ok smoking outdoors is illegal I believe in every state. Most vape pens, don't smell like weed. Hell I used to smoke mine in casinos. Just keep an eye out when walking around for PO PO. Weed u need to go to a park where u can see around u. Get far enough away that Po Po can't get to u without a walk.

    Even with a medical card, smoking marijuana in public is federally illegal so keep it on the DL still.

    Treat it like alcohol.
    If it's not legal for you to be drinking in public it's not legal to vape-toke.

    you should have received a pamphlet when you received your card. the pamphlet will tell you all the legalities that come with using medical marijuana

    Things have changed
    Consumption
    Patients can consume their medical marijuana through several routes of administration:
    • Vape Pens
    • Tinctures or other sublingually administered products
    • Capsules, tablets, lozenges
    • Topicals such as transdermal patches, lotions and ointments
    Both smoking cannabis and marijuana products incorporated into edible food products are not approved routes of administration in New York.

    Patients cannot consume through vaporization in public places. No consumption can occur on any grounds that prohibit smoking. The state cites the following examples:
    • Job sites
    • Bars Food service establishments
    • Enclosed indoor public areas
    • Public mass transit vehicles
    • Boarding areas
    • Youth centers
    • Detention centers
    • Child care services
    • Group homes
    • Residential treatment facilities
    • Colleges and universities
    • General hospitals
    • Commercial establishments
    • Indoor arenas
    • Zoos

    I have a medical card and use for medical purposes. you must not work or leave your house for anything. if im gone from the house for 8 10 or 12 or more hours I still have to have my intake of cannabis. but I always go where no one is and smoke around no one.

    I usually just make a point to stop home throughout the day and take a dab then go out XD. Course that was before the lockdowns.

    No it it's illegal in the divided police states of America to use cannabis in public regardless of medical or recreational. Just avoid the violent tyrant thugs and snitch pussies and be smart about it and do it anyway if you want.
