I know why weed gives you dry mouth

    I dont know about that specific article but I know smoking dehydrates you, which leads to dry mouth

    Uh weed definitly drys out my saliva glands.

    Ever try packing a lip with cottonmouth?
    Yeah, it doesn't work.

    If I put my finger to my mouth when it's all cottoned up, it just sticks there and feels like sandpaper.

    I think its cause weed frys your receptors in the brain and therefor you can't feel your mouth/tongue.
