Hey I wasn't trying to be a jerk. I read ur OP and the first couple pages, and I cd not really deal with more of the same disgusting mental imagery of a mouse w/ blood everywhere. So that's why I didn't read it all; it's too disturbing to me. Normally I do read whole threads before commenting. If I misunderstood ur OP then sorry. I didn't remember u mentioning pythons, so if u were trying to catch python food, then I could not have a problem with that. But if not, and if u were just trying to get a mouse out of ur house, I personally don't agree with killing it. I know most folks do that, but they don't really have to. For anyone who doesn't now, there are NON-LETHAL traps that don't even hurt them! "Have-a-Heart" traps actually work, too. You put food in there and the mouse gets trapped & not even hurt. Then you drive the mouse to the park and forget about it. Plus there are these electronic pest repellers. You just plug it in the wall and it sends a signal that humans & pets don't hear, but it repels mice, plus insects!
the signal ones don't work to well we live in a farm house that was built in the late 1800s the mice know where to go, the weather is starting to get cool a night so outside survival is hard for them, they come inside peoples houses... they are generally not a problem in the summer so this was random. it wasn't for food these mice can carry god only knows what diseases, i don't need the snakes getting that too, one of my snakes caught something from a diseased mouse one time, refused to eat for 3 months then died... but anyway yea fuck rodents edit - that was when i was like 13 new snakes now of course, but idk man ijdk
Maybe because mice are VERMIN! they are pests, invaders, disease carriers. They eat your food then shit in it. They get you sick and breed in your house. They can get your children sick. They multiple faster than rabbits. They stink. They cost alot to get rid of an infestation. I live in the country and they are a serious problem out here. we have to mouse proof our foundation so the fuckers don't bed down under the house and get into our stuff. edit: I'm talking about 50+ a year. Go to australia and tell them they shouldn't kill rats or mice.

Ya i can understand that part. I just wanted to point out that for some of people these things raise hell and wage war on you . Sometimes you just gotta kill 'em. If it's just one little one who snuck in and you live in a suburban or city area it's probably better to escort them out.
I think I also probably over-reacted, bc of the wording of the OP. Granted it was an accident but u were trying to kill it anyways. lol And u found it funny and then u asked if u should feel bad? lol OK so the wording probably struck me as sadistic more than it was supposed to. lol Also... Might I suggest getting a cat to catch ur mice? lol Unless u hate cats, why not have a cat or two hanging around. Cats are like 10x more loving, than most people, most of the time. lol

I thought this thread was going to be about a big mouth bass he grabbed from his wall display and beat a mouse to death with it.
That probably hurt his little ears so much but then again if he was in the sub it was probably quick and painless
