I just realized that I'm happy with where I am right now. As some of you guys might remember, i got married a little bit ago. I've been living here for awhile, and as long as i've been here, we were always working on big projects - we remodeled the kitchen, put in new flooring, painted the inside and outside of the house, leveled the lawn, installed a sprinkler system, sod, and lots of plants... I haven't talked about it much, in case I might jinx it, but we are starting up a new business. We bought a huge piece of equipment from China, and inventory, and pretty much took all the equity out of the home, but the thing is *finally* here, and we are ready to start. This is going to be my baby, because he already owns a business, so i'm very much looking forward to beginning. I've never worked for myself before, and I haven't actually had a job for three years. I'm a little scared, but mostly excited, and looking forward to things to come. Anyway, I was cleaning the house today, and I realized that we are at a really good place. All the really major stuff is done. Sure, I've got a business to start, but thats during the week. We still have to make cabinet doors for the kitchen, but I reorganized the cabinets and they look fine without doors, so we are in no hurry. Sometime, maybe this winter, we want to redo the guest room into a study for me. But there is nothing left to do that just plain has to be done this weekend. This is the first weekend that we've not had stuff to do - either being out of town, or working on a major project. This is the first time where I am trying to get the house clean on Friday because I get to relax all weekend. We are talking about taking our little bass boat out fishing, and maybe grilling up something on Saturday evening... I don't think I've ever been quite so comfortable with life before. Not comfortable like in this moment, comfortable with this whole life. This is nice.
