I just bent my outdoor grows over, did I do it right?

  1. So Ive never done this before, so I figured I would only do a few as not to mess up and kill them all.

I took two plants just over 12" tall and tied some string about 3" down from the tip and bent them over just about parallel with the ground. I left the little loope tied around the stem about the size of a nickel so the stem can still grow without the string cutting off its growth.

I also did a plant that was only about 4" tall on its 4th node of leaves.

    Did I do this right?

So is the idea behind this, that now shoots will start to grow straight up from the bent stem, in essense like 5 plants growing straight up from one main stem?
  2. it sounds good to me just dont make the loop to big so it will break and constantly check the stem to see if it is broken or cruved in a way it is not supposed well anyways do u have any pics of it?if so that would greatly help to determine, but it sounds good to me as long as u do it properly
