I was an East Coast transplant to WA(Seattle/Bellingham) for 2 years. The weed is great, there's really nothing more to say, BC to the north and Cali/Oregon to the south. Great cheap dank all the time Now living, don't expect any kind of seasons. There is Winter and Not Winter. There are tons of outdoor activites(hiking/biking/climbing/boating/winter sports) but you would find that in Denver too. Lots of good concerts come through the area. Public transportation is pretty decent over there too. That being said, living in WA was great and I consider moving back at some point, but at this point in my life it was not the place I needed to be
