So yeah, I got em. I know spinosad is the route I want to take to get rid of em but I was wondering if it would be a good idea to throw some diatomaceous earth on top of the soil to screw up the larvae? Would this work even? They seem like a soft bodied bug who would easily get cut up by the DE. But I've never had to deal with these buggers before and want to make sure I make it as hard as possible for em to live in my room. Any other suggestions? Thx.
I just found a predator mite called Thrips Predator(neoseiulus cucumeris). Has anyone ever used these guys in their room? It sounds like a better option than spraying a room that's halfway through flower.
Spinosad is a good SAFE insect spray ... There are similar insecticidal sprays and soaps. De as a top dress will only last til you water again. You can use yellow sticky insect traps in your grow space too.
