I have absolutely no appetite while trying to take a break from it

Discussion in 'Cannabis Consumption Q&A & Tips' started by Skinnystoner, Jan 4, 2020.

  1. I’ve been trying to take a break from smoking because college is about to start again but it’s really hard because I have absolutely no appetite when I go more than a day without smoking. I’m already skinny as it is and I’ve tried to take protein shakes and eat small meals but it still makes me feel nauseous and draws me back smoking. If anyone has any tips it would be greatly appreciated. Happy New Years.

  2. Try working out more or something like that.

  3. It's called CHS. I have it too, quite terrible. On my day 4 of tbreak, lucky you stopped when ya did haha, first it's appetite loss, then lack of sleep, fevers, then puking all day.

First time I got to the puking stage because I was thinking, this from weed? No way. Confirmed it this time no doubt.

Over the last four days I ate less than I normally do in 1. Cold n hot sweats all day n night
No puking this time luckily. As I stopped use sooner when symptoms arose

I think it's from GMO weed.
This shit didn't happen in the 70s.

Do not take any weed at all until ur breaks over. I think it's an inbalance between brain and gut cannabinoids.

  4. I try working out but it’s to when you tiny amounts of food in your body from withdrawal. Im not starving my self intentionally, it’s just that when ever I do try to eat I can’t even hold my food down without feeling nauseated. Just trying to eat food makes me wanna throw up. But I see where you’re coming from with the exercise. Thank you

  5. Oh wow I had no clue about any of this stuff. You have any tips on how I can force my self to eat or
help with the nausea that comes with trying to eat? Good luck on your break btw.

    I wish.

I ate some applesauce and a piece of peanut butter on toast yesterday.

Actually made some beef and veggies mixture and was able to get half a burrito down thursday evening, had a cup of milk that morning for breakfast.

Stay hydrated, it gets better. And obviously for sleep, melatonin or NyQuil may help.

Idk if food makes nausea worse or what, but I don't even feel hungry at all, I just know the stomach is empty, so I walk around the kitchen a few times a day luckily enough one of those times end up with something consumed?

  7. Yeah I know what u mean by empty feeling but no hunger at all. The whole situation sucks

  8. Sorry to ask another question ur do you get that stomach pain from barely eating? If you do then how do your go about handling it?

  9. Drink juices and smoothies for now. Nothing with banana in it because that'll worsen your nausea because bananas are slimy and viscous

Weight gain supplement seem so unecessary and scammy unless you're bulking and legit into bodybuilding.

(Also if you wear an AB but you claim to be worried about low appetite then you're probably full of shit and secretly prone to getting fat, just saying)

  10. Oh yeah fruits a good one too if ya can! Yeah I've had stomach pain from not eating due to this. Really isn't much that can be done, quite debilitating, above posters right, sometimes smoothie drinks can go down better. You'll live. Laying down works too, really would suck if you had a job to perform during peak.

  14. Not necessarily CHS, if I take a break I get a bit irritable and lose my appetite, I will occasionally get hungry and then after a couple bites of food will feel extremely full. But I smoke multiple times a day and never get any CHS symptoms, if I am ever nauseous cannabis will usually actually help take that away
