    What the hell is a lid. I've been smoking for about five years and have never one bought a lid or heard of anyone speak of lids. I was watching Cheech and Chong the other day and they kept talking about getting a lid or something and i was like wtf. Then i was looking at a Janis Joplin album cover and it features a cartoon of a guy who's like "lids?" and i assumed he was probably looking to purchase some of these mysterious lids. Sorry if i sound like a retard but im just curious.

    nope, sounds more like another drug like Es or acid (i am not saying it is, but the word lid in my head gives me THE IMPRESSION OF)

    haha i just got finished with up in smoke the movie like 5 min ago, yes it is an ounce, hes like "cmon man we gotta go score a lid" or "people are charging a 100 bucks a lid" I wish prices were still like that

    a lid is old slang for an ounce.


    a 3 finger lid was a regular sandwich bag, that was 3 fingers highs. a 4 finger lid was better, as it meant more bud.


    for an example, watch blow, it starts out in the 70's with them selling lids.

    In city of god the kids sell lids. There ounces I guess... but they wrap it in paper cause theyre so fucking ghetto. Everyone should watch that movie while theyre high.
