So my buddy and I lined our grow box with aluminum foil because its cheaper than mylar. I know a metal knife will wilt lettuce leaves so I was wondering if the same thing or something else detrimental would happen to my plant if her leaves touched the foil. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
don't use foil. if funds are low, go to wally mart any buy one of those emergency blankets from sporting goods. much better than foil. tape it to a cardboard backing to mold it around your grow area.... they cost like $2.
foil creates heat spots that will really damage the plant and cause uneven growth, don't use this! white paper is better if nothing else (but diamond mylar is still best)
