i have a new betta fish

    so i bought a new betta fish after being betta fish-less for a year. he is so pretty and i named him Benny Lava. to understand his name, IGotTheCottons had posted this funny video a few weeks ago.

    that vid is wierd..but i have a betta also
    hes in a 5 gallon planted tank with some glo-light neons...hows big is the tank u have for him

    small but i cant afford a huge one. he has moving around room. compared to what he came in, hes so free.

    :) I've always loved those. I'd love to have a tank full of fish. Seems so relaxing to just stare at.

    Good luck filling a tank with Betta Fish. They won't kill each other, but they definitely won't get along.

    We had two in a 40 gallon tank when I was a kid. We thought that having all that space would help them get along.

    Didn't work. One got so injured that it would have been cruel not to feed him/her to our pirahnas... :(

    They like small containers, you notice at the pet store they have them in little cups and not big tanks. (and as people have said they DO NOT get along with each other). We have always had a beta fish as long as i can remember, average they have lasted about 2 years, but we had one that lasted 3.

    HAHA fucking betas, its the fish that started it for me( i dont have fish anymore) but back in the days that was my main thing b4 herb. Good thing about betas is that there low ass maintanence, you can also throw in another beta and have a show. I miss my fish, from my discus to my oscars to my cichlids =[ I plan on getting another tank but not till the future.

    they are ridiculously fast when they fight, way too fast to capture on film, i tried for a bio project once.

    wow that video is great..i had 6 bettas in a tank...only one remained...before i bought an oscar fish

    Your fish is alright, but mine's betta.

    nice fish..i have an 100gal brakish water tank with 3 big ass white tip sharks and 2 big ass plecos...i wish i could put colorful little fish in the tank but the sharks swallow anything that falls in the tank...i feed these beasts frozen fish...these mofos live 10+ years and their only about 5yrs old now...once they die out i'll fill the 100gal with cichilds.

    Hehe I didn't mean a tank full of them. I just meant in general, I'd love a tank full of fish. :p

    If i ever get fish, i want tons of exotic colorful ones in a huge tank.

    Im just not a fish guy. I like big animals like dogs, cats and moose.
