  1. now when i water this plant do i have to soak the whole thing or can i just water around the stem of the plant i dont want to overwater it?

  2. Just water around the stem. That is a big pot for a seedling but it will work okay. when you can stick your finger into the soil and it feels dry that deep then it will be time to water again. Although seedlings can stay a little more damp than adult plants, overwatering can be a problem and in a big pot like that it will stay wet longer. Your plant will use very little water now. Water loss will be from evaporation.

As far as nutes go,I wouldn't think about nutes just yet, When you do start adding nutes it will need to be at a dilluted strength. I'm not a soil grower but there are plenty of threads that can tell you what to do concerning nutes or anything else.

  3. fox farm's big bloom (not tiger bloom) is a great organic nute that you use throughout the entire grow. It even jump started the seeds, they developed some roots day 1 and day 2 they were already opening the first 'leaves'. Its pretty safe to use, very hard to nute burn with it, and my guys seem to love it. "safe enough you can use it every watering"
