For some reason when I smoke Marijuana my nose gets stuffy & l lose my sense of taste and smell. I have allergies but I can't be allergic to Marijuana because me inhaling it would cause a trip to the ER lol. Does this happen to anyone else?
Same here, my nasal cavities just clog up. They get stuffy and I have to mouth breathe. Fuck. I guess its an allergic reaction to the smoke, not the weed. But its annoying as hell. And I feel that my nose swells a little but that could be psychologically. My sense of smell goes out the window but I can taste food a lot better than sober.
You guys gotta get some nasal spray. I bought a cheap bottle at the campus convenience store, at night before I go to sleep if my nose is clogged up I just tilt my head back, spray a little bit in each nostril and let it drip through my sinuses, it's a little uncomfortable but it works and then I blow my nose and take a drink of water. 2 minutes later I'm good to breathe through my nose for the night. Hope this helps
Nasal spray? Looking into it asap man this problem sucks. And @peruvian it sucks bro especially when I get munchies :'(
My sense of smell usually just smells like whatever im smelling plus weed. Even if I don't have smoke om me I smell weed constantly high. My taste however is increased by over 9000!
IME, nasal spray can inflame your sinuses and make the congestion worse. Not saying it WILL, but it does to me.
...Not to mention if you use nasal spray too much, as it says on all nasal spray medications, it will stop working and actually make symptoms worse.
Happens to me all the time. My nose gets stuffy everytime i smoke. My solution is to just keep smoking and get so high u either dont notice it anymore or stop caring. Works everytime for me
Try nasal spary and then get a little pack of vaseline to rub right beneath your nostrils above your lips. You will sleep like a baby
I have HORRIBLE nasal congestion when I smoke. I've been smoking everyday for the past few years, and just in the last few months or so I've developed itchiness & congestion along with the usual red/dry eyes and drymouth. The congestion has become unbearable. If you smoke everyday, I recommend NOT using a nasal decongestion spray (or any other decongestant for that matter). If you use them for more than 3 days in a row, it actually makes your congestion worse. My question is - will using a vaporizer keep me from getting congestion? Seriously, I'm going to have to quit and I REALLY don't want to. There's nothing on the internet to help me. So if anyone has the same problem and/or a solution, please let me know!
