I got my plants tied back. Questions Now

  1. Okay I have my plants all tied all at a 90degree angle and the tops are facing back up towards the sun. They seem to have adjusted pretty well . Now I am noticing ALOT more growth The plants are beginning to bush out. Do I ever untie the plants or do they stay this way until done? They look alot more healthier. What changes should I be looking for now. My plants are out of the ground age 8 1/2 weeks old.

I read somewhere that I should up the K before it gets ready to flower. What age is the plants when I can expect this to begin? 10 to 12 weeks or what?

Thanks for your input. Only contribute if you'd like.

  2. I have previously tied down plants (roughly 2 footers) and gradually tightened the bend until they touched the ground and then I pinned them to the soil so they grew along the ground and the colas pointed up. On the odd occasion some have taken root along the stem where it met the ground - but that's not a regular occurence. I have some of my latest ones along the ground atm, when the camera comes back from the repair man I'll post pics.

In my experience, if you untie them, they'll eventually stand upright-ish but will have a bit of a kink in them.
