A few weeks ago I planted some seeds. I didn't expect them to grow, but now I got this. I'm from South Texas, and the weather begins to get extremely hot and humid in about 2 months. Right now it's mild. Tips?
Water them whenever you feel the soil is too dry. I suppose you could add some panels around (or sheet of plastic, cling film maybe?) to shield it from the wind to prevent water loss. Just put some sticks around it and wrap some plastic around, but make sure the top is open, you dont want to seal it off.
I was thinking about moving the 2 plants since it's next to the tree. Any advice? I'm not much of a gardener.
Ideally, move it if you aren't afraid to kill it. But I don't know, transplants are always risky, you could damage the roots. Personally, I'd probably cut a big diameter around it and dig deep enough so I know I'm not going to hurt the roots and try transplant it like that. I have a fertilizer that helps root growth and increases survival of transplants, maybe you could try get hold of some.
