  1. I am super blazed and I tried to top, or fim or what ever you call it and I cut off a fan leaf and I think to much of the growth, check it out, is there going to be new growth or is this plant a waste now?

  2. It will be ok I think. It's definitly not a waste.

  3. yah dude it'll be fine but your fimming needs practise.

u could cut every growth site off and new growth sites will be forced out, you could literally cut your plant in half and it will be fine, see those nodes where theres those small green leafs, they will be your new branches.

cutting the top like that will only make it grow outwards and bushy

  4. hahha alright I got kind of scared, I didn't top it correctly did I? I want it to get bushy ><

  5. What you did will make it bush out

You will have two colas instead of one. If you top again both those colas you will then have 4 colas. And so on

  6. Dude that looks like as good a topping as any.. Not the cleanest, but none the less you took the top off and topped you plant correctly. Sweet now watch what would have been your inner node sites push out and become your two new tops..

I topped this clone not to long ago.. you can see the split pretty good in my picture, and the two tops

If you miss some of the main stem when you top it's a cut called a FIM or fuck I missed, and in this case you'll get 3-4 new tops. The main stem continues on with the two side shoots in most cases, making three tops.. you really can't mess it up.. as long as you stall verticle growth, and allow the plant to push out it's a success.. The plant below has been fimmed
