this pheno is still popping white pistils, but they’re Foxtailing pretty good! I found a spot in my house that is absolutely the perfect temperature and humidity to dry and then I can throw it in jars.. the two nugs I already sample dried and cured are already starting to taste better every day. So that gives me hope. Especially because I have a HUGE! Drying rack ready to go. Depending on how they look tomorrow and what I see I’m gonna probably harvest most of everything. Except the really purple plant. That one might have a few more days but we’ll see. I’m gonna bring the microscope with me. Check different spots. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Nice plants . Butt i see a lot of all white hairs . The first plant pictures you posted . There not quite done yet. Unless im seeing something different then you .
i see them too. I was mesmerized by the beauty of the colors and thought they should be cut. Second thought, I would wait if possible but be ready to harvest on short notice. Hate to lose what you have right at the end of the race. Maybe another 5-7 days? How are the trics looking?
Honestly, some look done while others don’t. I think I’m just gonna cut the ones that are absolutely ready. there’s ones that look completely ready to go and then the other ones have hairs like that but they’re Foxtailing pretty nice!! Either way— I’m keeping the purple plant up for a few more days so it couldn’t hurt to keep the one Fino of the headband up for a few more days as well. Just allow those hairs to recede a little bit. It’s really only on the one Pheno of the headband 99 the one in the back right corner.. the other ones are all receded and look nice This one on the front left can definitely come down at at least most of the top branches tomorrow — I might wanna wait and let some of the tops that aren’t as ready- get a little bit more mature.. I have two more strains ready to go after this, but I want to let these flowers get as good as they can be Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
A mix of cloudy Ambur and clear mostly cloudy. I see a pretty decent amount of amber. But as I said, some branches are more mature than others it’s weird. I suppose that happens. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
One of the main tops that I harvested at day, 57 was definitely very good smoke - not racy like early harvest and stuff n racey. But nice. Tomorrow will be 65 days the cultivar recommends between 63 and 69 - video leave the back right one to ripen up with the purple Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I honestly don't think your drying rack will hold everything but then again you said your waiting on the purple. Good job and luck
It’s on the the biggest 6 individual big spots. Very tall. Like taller than me. But ur right. I might need to hand some too. I have a nice rack too.. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
If anybody is wondering . This is where waiting can make a smoke that much better . Yeah it worth waiting a week more. Will produce smoke like you never had before . You wont see dispo weed as good as the poster just grown after he waits . I have seen dispos pull there weed once they stop getting fat. Ow there done harvest ! BS . Why there out of business .
i would invest in a humidifier like a 1 gallon to make sure you stay over 60% rh any drop can ruin a crop
i waited on the moby dick and was glad i did i say chop away the headband leave the purple to really mature
Maybe you didn’t read all my responses, but I plan on harvesting the most swollen and receded tops today. . I’m going to leave a lot to catch more light.. as the big tops get removed, and let them ripen a few more days.. it’s also hard to make proper assessments from just pictures. They look 10 times different in real life. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Most on the left side are ready. Also don’t forget I’m running a Scrog meaning My tops aren’t gonna be as fat as individual cola plants would be .. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I have a perfect room it’s like a little shed attached to my apartments. Each apartment has one it’s where I keep my drums and I play my music… I think it will be absolutely a perfect spot to hang the drying rack - not outdoors it’s still considered part of the house (I’m gonna grab another little thermometer/hygrometer Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
It’s gonna stink in the room. FYI! The window of opportunity is here. It’s a big window. Some like their steak rare, some not so rare. Others want it “well done” Harvest branches when you are happy with them. At this point you are the best judge.
I pull mine when they’re “well done”. In my younger days I would pull them at the medium rare to medium stage. Did that for a while and was quite happy with the harvest, my friends too! A few years ago I was not able to harvest due to injury and nobody that I trusted to help, just let it go. When I did finally get to it I was 2.5 weeks past “my sweet spot “. No more white hairs, just the fattest calyxes I’d ever seen in my gardens. It turn out to be the best that I had grown up to that point and I thought I had grown premium, top shelf bud. Living is learning. New sweet spot now! Blue
Here’s what I just cut off. I really only took off two branches that I wish I would’ve let go. But I have so much more. Barely a quarter of one of the plants tops .. so much more to go Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Jesus Christ 640 W in a 4 x 4 canopy gives you a hell of a lot of tops Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
