  3. why did you dig it up? if it grew the root in there it should be fine.

  4. lol...go figure...its not a magic bean thats going to sprout a tree over night Jack...i cant believe you saw growth...and then dug it up...lol...some folks should remain spectating purchasers...

  5. Its not alive after you pulled her out the soil. Why did you dig her up?

  6. Its been a week and a half.. I dug around it because i was scared that they didnt get above soil. Dont worry i was superrr careful taking them out i just thought they died. Do they look dead?

  7. as a doornail...now!

  8. Fuck do. You think if i left it it would of lived?

  9. no that thing looks bad for a week and a half. start your next seeds in wet paper towels on a plate with the seeds all pointed with that little nub pointing the same way. then cover the plate with plastic wrap and tilt it so that the "nubs" are all pointing up and keep it in a warm place like on top of your hot water heater. carefully take it apart 2 days later. you should see ONE white root possibly with little hairs on it. If not, youve got some bad seeds. If they have that ONE root and its WHITE with little hairs, then you fucked up last time. Give us more info about your grow and we can help you stupid :D

  10. I germinated them before i put them in soil. The roots looked nice, white, and thick so i put them in soil. A week and so later they look like that! I used 26 watt cfl's fairly close to the dirt and a fan to regulate the temperature.. I wish i just knew where i went wrong so i can learn from this!! :/

  11. so the seeds are solid. thats a good start. now what else can we know?

lights not so important unitl the seed breaches the surface so let talk soil and watering regime plus temp of area and possibly water (in case youre using icecubes or something)

  12. Soil was about 65% potting soil 35% perlite. I watered every 2 days with a spray bottle. 7 sprays each time. Maybe i didnt water enough?

  13. at the earliest stages we want as few nutrients available as possible. Using higher Ph water (like from tap) make this happen. Assuming nute burn isnt a problem here (do you know your waters Ph?) watering (or lack thereof) is our next concern. you want to water the soil until it runs out of the bottom and then let it dry for a day or two or 3 depending on how dry the soil gets. you want it to get dry but not dry out

  14. It might have dried out.. I was so over-worried about over-watering because ive heard of so many people killing their seedlings by doing just that! Oh well i guess its a learning experience. Thanks!

  15. 1 more thing.. Is there ANYWAY they can survive if i stay on top of watering them if i replant them? Or are they totally done for and a waste of time?

  16. over watering caused your slow growth...every 2 days is way too much...as your soil drys out..the seedlig searches for moisture(it grows)..if you keep it wet..it doesnt have to search for water hence slow growth..thats why they naturaly grow downward..dig deep enough u hit water...in nature

FYI...marijuana likes to grow thirsty...not dehydrated..just not moist..

  17. When i dug it out my soil was almost completely dry though.. Maybe my lights were too close too. Damn theres a lot to look after when you're growing i guess everyone fucks up their first grow though!

  18. that root looks pretty bad. cut your losses and start over :)

  19. he didnt over water. each grow is different. you dont know the humidity of his room, how much soil hes using for his "seven sprays" and many other variables. He would also have root rot, not a shriveled up dead dry root. Dont be so quick to misinform ;) (all said kindly)

  20. he dug it up because it was taking way too long to sprout so he asssumed the worst. This is typical. so far into the germination process he should have been concerned and went digging :) not advised till a week after germ
