Confront your sister about it privately. Be calm, but tell her how pissed you are that she let you take the fall for this. Tell her if it happens again you aren't going down. Period. There's a difference between not narcing out friends when you were all guilty (smoking up, whatever) and taking the fall for someone who should love and respect you enough not to pull that shit. She's not going to get arrested, she'll just suffer your parents. It's only snitching if you found out without your parents knowing and went to them.

 

I wouldnt grow in my parents house. If you got busted, your parents would be FUCKED. They would feel the reprocussions of your actions worse than you could imagine. Move out and get an apartment and grow away.

I also wouldnt toke up in the bathroom at school. Thats just an invitation to get busted.

Your mistakes have lowered your parents trust enough to have them blame you for the alc. If i was your parents i'd be giving you shit too.

Sorry, but while you are under their roof, you must live by their rules, no matter how much you may not agree with it; it is their house, and they are letting you live there. Lots of people get booted quite unceremoniously, out into the Real World at 18. They haven't done that to you, so you need to show them respect.

When you have your own place, you may do whatever you please. Until then, you must accept you can't have it both ways. Hell, I'm almost 30, and I have moved out and come back a few times now, but I ALWAYS respect my parents, and would never even consider taking the piss out of their generosity.

 

I love it how everyone on this forum talks about how much they hate narcs, but now people are telling this guy to narc on his own sister for stealing alcohol. It really isnt that big a deal. You're already grounded, and you took the blame for your sister, you did a good thing (unless your sisters like 12). If you're 18, i really dont think your parents would care to much that you're drinking their alcohol, and even if your not, i'm sure they're more upset about you growing pot in their house than about stealing some booze. If i were you.... i'd just sit back, take the punishment, and stop growing.

theres a difference between "narc"ing on someone who's simply not caught to explaining who really commited the crime when someone else is wrongfully accused. accepting a wrongfull accusation is worse imo.

It isn't, 'narcing' (I think that's spelt with a 'k', actually, but you know...) when it is for someone elses long term benefit; i.e., if your sister is very young, you would have been better of telling your parents, so they can giver her a talking to.
