I Dont Cough?

Just used to smoking, not really sure. I really don't cough at all, except sometimes my first few hits of the day get to me after that nothing. Not sure what causes it, maybe just your lungs being used to it, not really sure man

 

I'm not to sure what or why it is working for you. the only real experience I have with something like that was last summer. I started dating this Fine 26 year old cherry. We smoked all the time and she would constantly hack and cough. Once I got her to swallow all seven inch's of my dick she never coughed again. Don't know what to tell ya man.  

 

I can get myself not to cough at all through my thinking process. I just think "don't cough, you don't feel it, don't cough" and it works. if it doesn't work the first time, usually after a few hits I'm able to do it easily. it's really just controlling your shit with your mind, almost.

I only cough first hit of the day or if its been a day since last smoked. Its pretty rough with a gravity bong, my bowls its not that bad.

Yeah, ya just get used to it and it is easier to supress the cough reflex.  I have a short one-hitter and cash it in one inhale.  Used to be hard not to cough, but after a couple weeks, it was no big deal.  Even when I smoke for the first time after going months without, it still doesn't make me cough these days.
 
What does get me though is when I smoke too much.  After the 3rd or 4th one hitter bowl, my throat will start feeling raw and the tendancy to cough will increase.

 

It very well could be the strain you're smoking. I go through phases where the herb I'm smoking doesn't cause me to cough. Like you said, I'll feel it in my lungs, but I don't get the urge to cough. A couple weeks later I'll pick up some fresh bud, and the stuff will cause me to cough.
 
If it's been happening over a long period of time, there is still the chance that you keeping buying the same type of bud. Not bud that's bad necessarily, but just a strain that doesn't cause you to choke. Perhaps you'll pick up some stuff soon that will just absolutely choke you up.
