  4. I feel ya, when I wake up I feel amazing. If I fall asleep and have to get up in a short amount of time my eyes burn and I feel like complete shit. Never understood it. [IMG]

  5. do you zombify when you hear loud noises?

  6. rofl. i love the comic strip. even more so cause its so true. you should put that shit on a t-shirt.

  7. Hahaha Yes, I zombify when I hear my alarm clock lol. On GC humor I might start posting some retarded rage comics I make :smoke:

  8. ha so true

  9. Sometimes, I'm able to tell myself that I need to wake up at 7:45 or 8 or whatever for work and even though I'll set my alarm I'll still think about when I want to wake up right as I'm going to sleep.

Occasionally, I'll wake up a few minutes before my alarm is programmed to go off, sometimes though it turns out that I wake up 30 minutes before and I fall asleep again and wake up feeling like what you described.

  10. haha for real.. as soon as i hear my alarm clock i just hit the snooze button and go back to sleep.. it's become a pattern, like, me hitting the snooze button just makes me more sleepy because im used to hitting it and going back to sleep.. and when i actually wake up without the alarm i feel great.. how ironic lmao

    :smoke:

  11. Now when I wake up for work, I'll just listen to my Internal alarm clock ;)

  12. I usually hit my snooze alarm 4 or 5 times on days I don't have to work (I just set the alarm so I don't sleep all day), and since I do it so often the movement of my arm becomes automatic.

One time I did it without looking, and slammed a half cup of blue Koolaid on my desk from the previous night onto the floor; ruined both my carpet and my morning.

  13. if you want to hear the scientific reason behind it, it's because if you wake up in the middle of a sleep cycle you will feel more groggy than if you had waken up at the end of a sleep cycle.

each sleep cycle is typically 90 minutes long.

this website is great for calculating how much sleep you need:

  14. That was me this morning too. But my day got a whole lot worse after that. Till now when I could finally pack my bowl and mflb. :)

  15. It's because when you first wake-up, it's usually after a full sleep cycle. When you go back to sleep, you start the cycle again and usually end up waking up only like 10-20 minutes later, which means your barely entering the sleep cycle, the time when your body gets it's most rest.

Your essentially telling your body it can have more rest, but then force it up before it even gets started.

  16. Hahahahaha :D
