Let me guess... you watch FOX NEWS and actually believe what they are telling you... Obama inherited a bunch of BS from the Republicans and now they are trying to cry foul and block his every move. Yes, I will tell it on the mountain I LOVE OBAMA!!!! but as I mentioned in an earlier post, presidents dont really have any power, they are figure heads, the people running the country are in congress, and that institution is fucked.
Read my previous posts because that was a horrible guess. The president is the head of the beast, the corrupt heads cannot operate without a person representing them. Anyone that represents them is part of the problem, becoming president is voluntary. It is stupid to give the president a free pass. He is the one keeping it all together.

I agree with your sentiment but not your reasoning. Partisan politics are to blame. Just because conservatives are the current victors of the most recent power grab doesn't mean they're the only ones with their heads in the sand. The only political group I truly trust right now to move us in a better direction is the libetarians... but until reason takes hold among americans the voting public will continue the ultimatum between red and blue.
We have our troubles in Europe too.. What we really need is a concious revolution. We all need to stand up for our rights and care for our fellow humans.

No.. Your company probably isn't giving bonus's because the democrats had a majority in both the house and senate and most likely increased the taxes for your company through the roof. Just because the Tea Party has Republican/"Fox News" backing they seem to think it's a bunch of crazy/politically retarded radicals. Guess what? The main thing the Tea Party is built on is smaller federal government and more POWER TO THE PEOPLE. And what's more, these people are actually out TRYING TO DO SOMETHING POSITIVE instead of sitting here moaning on a forum about how they wished they had the balls to run away to another country cause this one sucks SO bad. People who do more/harder work or in a position of seniority are supposed to get paid more, that's how life works. More currency=More opportunity=more motivation to be industrious/ingenuitive and acquire currency. (Yes, I know that in a perfect world there would be no money and everyone would just do everything for everybody free of charge, and we should also all piss rainbows and ride unicorns all day. Get real.) Life isn't fair, the one's who work the hardest deserve more oppurtunities, that's just how it is. However, everyone deserves the chance to improve their standing, to have an equal chance to fight for his piece of the pie. That's capitalism and that's what America was founded on, and that's what we need to go back to if we want to save the country our forefathers founded from disaster. And I use the term "disaster" loosely, because no matter what happens we're all either going to be all right, or dead. Life gets a lot better when you figure this out.
Every country has it's issues, and I also LOVE my country, the U.S.A. but our government lost it's way well before I was even born. After Bush was elected, I got the hell out of dodge. Chose Costa Rica for the reasons I mentioned and more, but it aint all beer and skittles, we have our share of BS. But pound for pound I will take C.R.'s BS over that States ANY DAY. I am neither a Democrat, or Republican, I'm just a funny looking primate walking around the planet. I have never in my life voted, nor do I plan on ever voting... I will not support the political machines of any party and I too believe both parties are truly and well Phucked. I just feel the Republicans are a little bit more phucked than the Dems. Politicians, in general, are right up there with used car salesman. The last president I approved of before Obama was Carter, hope he does better than he did at his reelection.
man i'm gonna have to read this whole thread later, but i feel ya OP. I try to be patriotic, and I try to be proud of the country that I was born and raised in, but really it gets harder every day. Honestly, this place is a shithole. I won't pretend to know the reason why so much shit gets fucked up by the government, since I'm not in politics and don't plan on it, but you don't have to know why something happens to know that it is happening. Personally, i think Obama has been one of the better presidents in decades, although my opinion might change as time progresses. It's also really tough to sift through all the bullshit that is TV and other people's opinions (which are the opinions of those on TV...mostly). If you aren't convinced, or know someone who isn't, this might help What the fuck has Obama done so far? The thing that really pisses me off is how involved we are in world politics. That's what the fucking UN is for. not that we care anyway, since we invaded afghanistan and iraq after being specifically told by the UN not to. It's cool that we want to send aid and stuff to people who need it, but the problem is that there are always, always alterior motives. Anywhere there is power to be had, we won't hesitate to get involved immediately under the guise of "trying to help". It's pretty fucking pathetic. Ideally i'd like to move to somewhere in Europe, they seem to have their shit together and they tend to set the example for everyone else as far as I can tell.
