  1. I need some help. I am growing three plants in soil (foxfarm planting mix) under 1000w hps that I have about two and a half to three feet away. the thermometer that I have by the pots reads 80 degrees. I have a fan on them. They are about one month old and I just transplanted them from party cups to 3 gall pots w/ 50 50 soil and pearlite. I am feeding them pure blend pro 3 1.5 4. 30ml per gallon.
The problem is that the plants are yellowing some what at the bottom and the top of the growth is looking stringy also the plants look droopy like if they are thirsty. When they were in the party cups the ph went up to 7 but then i transplanted and now Ive been watering every three days with nuts with a ph of 6. what do you guys think im doing wrong am i over feeding.

  2. since your feeding, every 3 days (too much), and no improvement, you are experiencing lockout, first raise your PH to 6.5-6.8 from now on. PH is one of the first culprits of nute lockout

your also using too much perilite, the plants may not get enough water & nutes using 50/50

also , with using properly corrected PH water, give us the runoff PH please
    can you post pics?

  3. 80 degrees is pretty warm... raise your lamp a little more. that 1000w hp could be to intense for them at this stage

  4. Im gonna try raising the lite up higher to see if that helps. What would be the right ratio of pearlite to soil? And how would you recommend feeding? Ihave no clue how to download pics.

  5. you are feeding them way too much nutrient

i only feed nutrient once every 1 to to weeks and water every other day in between

they dont need that much nutes mans

give them water only for a week or two and you will see improvement

  6. thanx Ill try that you think I should flush the soil?
