Is there any hope it will pop back out or is she done for? I tried looking for it in the soil but I can't see her. I think that seed just bit the dust.
Maybe. Give it a couple of days. I never pour water that early. I just spray water heavily with a spray bottle.
Thanks, yeah, I know that, but I woke up and gave it a full water before thinking. I fucked up. That seed is probably fucked but I will give it a few days and hope for the best.
How small was it? I would probably find it and prop it up with a little dirt in the right place where it can get some light. They have enough energy to pop with no light but not much after that.
I looked but I can't find it. I just planted another autoflower seeds, no biggie. Just further proof I am an idiot. I know better than to be making rookie mistakes like that.
The little seedling popped right back up out of the dirt today after I watered it again. And I just planted another seed last night proving beyond any shadow of a doubt that I am a moron.
1/2 filled 3x3x3 inch nursery cups to start in.. This way when they stretch like they tend to do right out of the ground I can just top up the cup with a bit more soil.. At this tender stage I'll just set the cups in a pan of water for 15 min and that'll let it bottom soak up plenty of water without disturbing the seeds location in the cup.. BNW
Yeah, but I am currently growing Candy Cane autoflowers so I have to start out with the full size pots I don't like to transplant with autoflowers. I usually just use a spray bottle with seedlings but I fucked up because I am a moron sometimes. I have to go with autoflowers this time of year because I rely on sunlight for my grows and photoperiod strains don't do so well in the short days of winter.
Ahhhhh Autos.. Never messed with them.. Got to many regular seeds and clones to bother with em.. I do photos 365 outside here in So Cal.. Either vegged under T5 high outputs in a garden shed or like this set under some dusk till dawn solar lights.. I get 4 sets a year this way.. Never freezes here so I just keep vegging them up and setting them out.. Current spring set that went out the 1st of the month.. Should finish the last week of May and clear the inground sites for my summer plants.. BNW
It never freezes here in San Francisco either. But the days get short in the winter and I am too cheap to use artificial lighting so I go with autoflowers for the winter months until the days get longer.
